Update Bootsoftware und Firmware über Compact-Flash (CF)

1. Erstellen der Compact-Flash

Die Bootsoftware und die Firmware können nur mittels Compact-Flash aktualisiert werden. 
Dazu müssen folgende 2 Dateien auf eine DOS-formatierte Compact-Flash(CF) kopiert 
werden:

HPT100.bsw - 	Die Bootsoftware (Bios der XVC100)
HPT100.fw - 	Die Firmware der Steuerung

2. Übertragen von Bootsoftware und Firmware auf die Steuerung

Zum Übertragen von Bootsoftware und Firmware auf die Steuerung folgendermaßen 
vorgehen:

1.	die Steuerung von der Spannungsversorgung trennen
2.	den Dreh-Schalter auf der Rückseite der Steuerung in Stellung 3 stellen
3.	die Compact-Flash in den Einschub auf der linken Seite der Steuerung stecken 
	( dazu eventuell Schraube der Abdeckung auf der Rückseite der Steuerung lösen. 
	Achtung: Auf richtige Lage der Flash achten - nicht mit Gewalt! )
4.	die Spannungsversorgung wieder einschalten
5.	F5 -> PlcPrg Reset betätigen
6.	Mit ENTER reset bestätigen
7.	dann F4 -> BSW update betätigen
8.	Mit ENTER update bestätigen -> Meldung "update running"
9.	anschl. F3 -> SW update
10.	Mit ENTER update bestätigen -> Meldung "update running"
11.	Meldung "update complete!!! - please remove CF!!"
12.	Compact-Flash entfernen
	( dazu quadratischen Auswurfknopf neben der Flash betätigen )
13.	ENTER -> Save/Restart betätigen
14.	ENTER -> Restart betätigen
15.	die Steuerung von der Spannungsversorgung trennen
16.	den Dreh-Schalter auf der Rückseite der Steuerung wieder in Stellung 1 stellen
17.	die Spannungsversorgung wieder einschalten und die Anzeige im Display prüfen: 
	Beispielhafte Anzeige im Display: 
	10000000        BSW 01.31	(steht für Bootsoftware Version 1.31) 
	
	und danach:
	
	100000000232			(steht für Firmware Version 2.32) 
	31				(steht für Can ID 31)

	Bei falschen Anzeigen kompletten Vorgang wiederholen
18.	Anwenderprogramm neu übertragen und Bootprojekt erzeugen




Update of the bootsoftware and firmware with compact-flash card (CF)

1. Creating of the compact-flash-card

The boot- and firmware can be updated only by using a compact-flash-card.
In addition the following 2 files must be copied on a DOS-FORMATTED compact-flash (CF):

HPT100.bsw - 	the boot-software (Bios of XVC100)
HPT100.fw - 	the firmware of PLC

2. Transmitting of boot-software and firmware to PLC

Proceed as follows for transferring the new boot- and firmware to the control:

1.	Switch off power supply of the PLC
2.	Turn the rotary switch on backside of the control to position 3
3.	Put the compact flash into the left side of the PLC.
	(if necessary screw of the cover on the back of the control.
	Note: pay attention to correct orientation of the flash - not by force!
4.	Switch on power supply
5.	Push F5 -> PlcPrg Reset
6.	Confirm with ENTER
7.	Push F4 -> BSW update
8.	Confirm with ENTER -> message "update running"
9.	Push F3 -> SW update
10.	Confirm update with ENTER -> message "update running"
11.	Message "update complete!!! - please remove CF!!"
12.	Remove CF
	( for this push the button beside the flash )
13.	Push ENTER -> Save/Restart
14.	Push ENTER -> Restart
15.	Switch off power supply of the PLC
16.	Turn the rotary switch on backside of the control to position 1
17.	Switch on power supply and look for the display message:
	example for the message: 
	10000000        BSW 01.31	(for bootsoftware version 1.31) 
	
	und danach:
	
	100000000232			(for firmware version 2.32) 
	31				(for Can ID 31)

	On wrong display messages repeat the hole update operation
18.	Transmit PLC-program and create boot-project
