Version notes for SWD-Assist V3.00:
Modifications in V3.00:
In SWD-Assist contained SWD device catalog version: V1.10
SWD device catalog:
The SWD device catalog has been changed in order to be able to install catalog updates as separate updates. The current version of the SWD device catalog is displayed together with the version of SWD-Assist in the info dialog.
In the device catalog are now tooltips displayed showing device name, order numbers and supported profiles of cyclic data if the module supports multiple profiles.
Support for high display resolution settings:
The SWD-Assist supports now high display resolution settings. The resolution of the primary monitor is used. (when multiple monitors are used)
Update check:
The update check has been integrated into the SWD-Assist. The updates for the SWD-Assist and for the SWD device catalog are displayed in a window of the SWD-Assist. The installation of an update can be started directly out of that window. Alternatively the update files can be downloaded and installed manually.
EU5C-SWD-EIP-MODTCP gateway: Tag list export
When the EU5C-SWD-EIP-MODTCP Gateway is used in EIP mode, an simplified tag list without single bit definitions can be exported. In the simplified tag list multiple single bits in one byte are exported as one byte entry. The export of the simplified tag list can be triggered via a separate menu entry.
The following device has been added to the device catalog:
Change of protection type of M12 modules:
In the description text of the M12 I/O modules the protection type has been changed from IP67 to IP69K.
Changes regarding Hytrol:
Note on the "Save GSD file..." function in connection with the PXR-RCAM-SWD device:
If the "PXR-RCAM-SWD" device is present in the SWD configuration, it will not be possible to use the import of an exported GSD file in TIA Portal and STEP7.
Unintentional termination of the application may occur here.
In this case, the configuration should be done manually in the respective software using the general GSD files for the EU5C-SWD-DP device.

The following devices have been added to the device catalog:
Notes for voltage drop calculation at M12 cables:
The voltage drop calculation has been revised. The resistance values used at M12 lines were adapted to the cables used. This change affects only projects where M12 modules / M12 lines are used.
Cable length error with M12 cables:
If two M12 cables with different lengths were placed next to each other, the 2nd cable got the wrong length after loading the project. The order number is maintained. Now the cable length is not changed any more. Projects with this error should be corrected by deleting and reinserting the 2nd cable with the correct cable length.
